Some sights from Antigua...

Thought we would share just a few shots of Antigua. Of course most of our pictures are of Cohen, so we are going to try to take more of the beautiful scenery as well. Today was a beautiful day and no rain! It is the rainy season here right now -- the locals tell us "Es weeenter! Cover up your baby!" Most days start with clear skies and you can pretty much guarantee there will be rain in the afternoon. But no rain yet today, so we enjoyed a short walk and dinner out.

Tomorrow we are going back to Semillas de Amor. My mom is going to be working with the older children on making their very own small quilt. I think they are going to love it. I am going to be lending an extra hand in one of the baby rooms and Robby is going to be taking a tour and keeping Cohen happy. :) The nannies there can't believe how big Cohen is. Poor thing... his nickname seems to be "gordito" (little fat one) around here.

We love orangeade and smoothies from Condessa!!!

So happy to be sleeping in his own crib!

Looks like you all are having a great time and we hope you'll be able to come home soon so we can meet the little guy. He's still as cute as ever!

I am so glad to see that things are going well. Still praying like crazy that you guys are home soon. I love the "gordito" and can't wait to love on every ounce of him. If you can manage to get one of those sweet kiddos home from the orphanage home Greg and I will take him :) or heck I will take them all

I am so glad you guys are having a nice time. That is so neat that your mom gets to work with the children on a quilt and that you get to spend time with the children as well. What a wonderful experience! Cohen will love seeing all the pictures you take as he grows up. We miss you here- I hope you have a few more days like the one you had with no rain.

Beautiful scenery! And those beverages look so refreshing! When Caroline was in daycare last summer, her main caretaker was from Guatemala. She was always bundled up warm when I came to get her. It's wonderful that you will get to do some service there at the orphanage. I can't wait to hear more about that. Cohen's a cute gordito!
