We now have wireless internet in our apartment! I am so excited that we no longer have to make a special trip into town just to check email and post pictures. I am sitting on our couch and Cohen is happily napping in our room. So nice!
Yesterday we were so fortunate to be able to meet Cohen's birthmother. I was very nervous about meeting her and worried about what she would think of us. I wanted Cohen to be so happy and not fuss, which is hard because he is working on getting two more teeth. Everything was perfect! We instantly loved her and we are so thankful that we were able to meet with her.
Today we hope to have a nice, quiet day around the apartment. (We woke up around 6 this morning to what we hope were fire crackers and not gun shots.) We were surprised to see that some places around Antigua are celebrating the 4th. We ate at a fun restaurant last night that advertised, "Party like a gringo on the 4th!" We hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July at home. Still not sure when we will be coming home, but will let you know as soon as we hear.
Edited: My friend Hunter posted an excellent explanation of the final processes in Guatemala. Click here to see what needs to happen before we can come home.

Happy 4th of July to you all!! Cohen gets cuter each day!! Am sure your meeting his birthmother was quite emotional. Can't wait to hear more about it. Am glad that all of you are together. Praying that you will get pink soon!!
lots of love and hugs!
Glad things are still going well! Praying you'll get to come home soon! Happy 4th of July!
What a special day to meet his birthmom.
Lori,
I hate that we didn't get to meet! I never did make it to Antigua.... Where are you in the pink process?? I barely have time to take a bath, and I am WAY behind on blogging!
Glad to hear you had a good visit with Cohen's birth mother. I'm sure that was stressful.
Happy 1st - 4th of July with Cohen! Great pictures as always. Just waiting for the post that says..."we see PINK"
Hope you are having good weather. Rainy here in Louisville, but we need it. Praying you make it home by the next Bunco so you can bring Cohen!
Maddie says hello to Cohen.
Love the pictures!! I'm so jealous that you got to meet Cohen's birthmother. I'm sure that was VERY hard - but how awesome will it be when Cohen is older.
Is Cinthya your lawyer?!?! I just can't believe that. ;)
